achena mukh ek chumuk.achena chokh amar hok

The title is from a very popular Bengali song in the film "antohin" . It kind of narrate my view on cyber "relation" or so to say any relation except the blood one .
It's not that i have always felt the fellow human as my brothers and sisters. Even though am looking saintly with each passing day, trust me am not.
But if u are ready to forget the question "why" then i can answer "how".
I still remember quite a few journeys where i wanted to ask my co-passengers desperately "hi,do u like what i too like ?"....
And luckily in few cases i did.
And more importantly they too answered back.
And wow.....
now a pause.

no no ... no body that i know died.
It's just that Rakhi being rakhi ,i started the blog with one topic and now shifted to another.
So, a little prayer for ur soon to be confused soul.

O.K. Back
A precious gift of this quest is my "teacher".
I was in his dept with my friend  to drop our C.V.s and as my friend was busy having a chat, i was busy comprehending a quote laying below the table-glass, heard once before in an interview of Zayed Khan.
(yes yes, Zayed, son of Sanjay Khan and nephew to the late Feroz Khan,,bro of Susan Roshan Khan while  Hrithik Roshan is his brother in law.Am an interview-watch-holic)

As i could not get the whole of it so i did it.
wrote a letter almost 2 months after to thank him for giving his precious time and dropped a cue on that quote. ...
Got reply within 7 days ,snail-mail remember that too from kolkata to kajoragram(don't Google.Probably u would land in my mail id. ;)

So from 1999 till today he continues to be my "teacher"
He introduces me as a student of distance education.
So. what does he teach?
lots of information
On society . kolkata -events. cultural front. books. cinemas and many more.
lots of activities
political.social.creative.logical. How to be a part of an institution and then how to be an institute himself without intimidation ?- all are learnt from him.
and
one wisdom
LIFE IS NOT LIVED CASUALLY.......
Being a generation of 'JLT' that's a challenge for sure.

to be continued.....

  1. Loved the heading! Tagore wrote 'Achena ke bhoy ki amaar orey' ... As we sip that 'unknown', there's a new learning.

From our mothers who are unknown to the unknown teacher, it's a fab journey. There's so many ways to share ... an unknown sharing being the most wonderful way!

Glad that you started ... be this way forever!!
