Have you watched Arvind Desai Ki Ajeeb Dastan ?
Never mind.
I have seen it some 20 years back on Doordarsan. .
since then , i have never missed re-viewing any cinema more than this one.
Why? The last scene . It was engraved on my memory.
Today, while watching it second time am more jaw-dropped than ever before.
How on earth i could love this character at the age of 12/13!
the second time, i was not watching the movie. i was watching me remembering the movie.
The movie turned into a time machine . A moment of serendipity?
I doubt.
have you ever felt that your life is standing at the exact same position ? even if people are added and removed from your life? Have you?
Would that be nice to know?
No. i am not standing at the exact same place. Some how, i have lost track of what my starting point was.
who was I must be known to know who am I.
Wait.
Was it a movie blog? hah.....
Yes, lets talk about the movie then. well, my favourite movies stand out in there parts...In this movie it is the last scene. A completely burnt out person ( forget the reason) enters a room and start moving through. He touches almost every object while walking. this is where even u would scream 'throw a few man'. it is almost insane to believe that a director could paint a 'violence within' with such a low soundless act.
LIFE IS GONE
LIFE IS KNOWN.
IT IS TO BE EMPTIED AS THE POISON IS TASTED .
